I had grand plans of writing up new posts and working more on the
blog, which I really enjoy doing, but not only did I get sick, so
did my little girl. If I'm not wiping my nose, I'm wiping hers. I'll
be back soon. In the meantime, pray I don't run out of tissues.
Otherwise all I've got left is toilet paper... Ugh.

Redecorating and Writing
Are you a writer? If so, I have a new found respect for you. I spent this past week writing up a short story for NPR's Three Minute Fiction contest. I thought, "Oh, this will be easy! It can't be longer than 600 words so I'll just whip up an awesome, excellent, mind blowing story right after dinner!"
Yeaaaahhh.... It didn't quite happen that way, but whatever, I finished it! At some point, it became more about simply finishing the freaking story rather than producing anything that I would want to put my name on. I wrote about potatoes. I'm a dork.
Anyway, in case you couldn't tell I'm doing some redecorating 'round these parts! I know you are behind a computer and all, but I hope you can share in my excitement! I have really enjoyed reading the blogs of those who have left comments in my previous post. For instance, turns out Crunchy Kind gal, Kim, and I both feel kind of skeevy around zoos.

I'm Baaaaaack
Hey!? Heeelllooooooooo? Helloo --looo--looo---loooo. (that's an echo.)
That's what you've been saying for the last couple of months, isn't it? You gripe: "What happened to this blog? Nobody posts on it anymore!?"
Okay, well, the lovely Tiffany, now full fledged owner of the eco-invitation shop Earthly Affair, has been a busy, busy bee and while that's a good thing, it unfortunately has meant a bit of neglect for Earth Friendly Weddings. But that's okay. I feel for Tiffany. Running a business AND a blog AND being an attentive mommy and wife is not easy. So I talked with Tiffany and I'm going to start writing here again. I also plan to do a little redecorating... The essence of the blog will stay the same, but the heart of it is going to get a boost. That sounds a little vague (perhaps, even corny), but I'll explain more in the coming weeks. In the meantime, feel free to leave a comment with a link to your own blog or site. I'd love to see it and I really need to get back in the wedding loop!
