So Long and Thanks For All the Fish!
Hey everyone! Jennifer here! I've made it through my first year (almost) of mommyhood and I am still alive. The first month was... Well, let's be honest, it was a little hellish. I mean, I love my daughter - in fact, the word "love" is an understatement - but the transition to parenthood can you really throw you for a loop (see how I got my "mom legs"). But the days, weeks, and months, have flown by and here I am, SUPERMOMMY! Well, at least I am SuperMommy to my ten month old. :)
So as some of you know, and some of you don't, I have spent the past three years fawning over this blog and my biz, Earthly Affair. It was and will always be my first baby.
But then I had a real baby... and things changed.
I absolutely love working with every single one of my customers, creating and researching posts for this blog, and getting to know some amazing people within the wedding and green wedding industry. But taking care of my daughter full time, which has been my first and primary goal from day one, and running a business full time is really freaking hard. To those of you that do it, hats off to you my friends. Hats off. It was a tough, tough, TOUGH, decision, but I ultimately decided to pass the Earthly Affair torch on (see my personal post about this). Both this blog and the Earthly Affair website are now under the tender love and care of one Tiffany Drawdy - a SuperMommy herself with two kiddos. Tiffany, a graphic designer and printing rock star, has essentially been a part of Earthly Affair since we first opened in 2008. I am so excited for Tiffany! I know she will take excellent care of you!
So thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who has read my silly, and not so silly, posts and supported the awesome EarthlyAffair.com site. Please know that Earth Friendly Weddings (this blog - duh!) will still be here. As for me, I am by no means done and will no doubt be dabbling in creative endeavors in the future. Until then, catch me over on Tumblr or at Twitter (now known as SerenelySilly) for some random life related happenings. :)
So long and thanks for all the fish! (anyone know where that's from? anyone?)
